As you can see, Ivan is not a baby any more - he is a very busy toddler!!! His days are spent doing many interesting things, such as: opening and closing every possible drawer, digging through Chester's dog food and throwing kibble by kibble at Chester, then getting to the poor dog's water bowl and toppling it over, dancing to the Russian music on tippy toes, "reading" his animal books with Grandma, going up and down the stairs (never tires him out!), watering the plants (can last for 30 minutes!), throwing toys at Chester, then chasing Chester and trying to pull on his tail or ears or poke his eyes, putting shoes in the garbage, taking the vent covers out and trying to push them down the air ducts, pressing all possible buttons on the remote controls and then smashing them on the floor, noticing the DVDs on the shelf and making sure they are no longer there, and on and on he goes...
Ivan loves our walks in the park with Chester... When Chester disappears into the bushes, Ivan calls him out "Daaaaa!". "Daadaa" is his word of choice, that he uses like Ellochka from "12 Stul'iev" - with different expression to mean different things... Last week, he started to say "Bye" very clearly - it is usually accompanied by vigourous hand-waving...
Finally, the physiometric update:
height - 90 cm;
weight - 13.8 kg (or 30 lb).
That's it for now, or as Ivan would say, "byeeee"!!!
